To evaluate an “optimal” comparison of measured receive performance (SPI) and lowest transmit composite noise, the ratio of the SPI-to-TX Noise Index was computed. There are two displays below.
The first is a static ordered dot plot with each transceiver sorted on this ratio. Thus, a ratio of 1.0 reflects the median SPI number divided by the median transmit noise index. Ratios over 1.0 move in the direction of higher receive performance (SPI) and/or lower transmit noise index values.
The second is an interactive scatterplot of the SPI-to-TX Noise Index by market-entry price in 2021 $. This plot illustrates relative market prices with measured receive and transmit noise held to similar values.
